Treatment Preparation
We recommend that you refrain from eating two hours before your treatment. The day before your treatment it is important to drink two liters of water. Proper hydration is essential for flushing out toxins released by destroyed fat cells and helping with overall detoxification. DO NOT consume caffeine, alcohol, or carbonated drinks before your treatment. Do not use saunas, take hot showers or participate in an intense workout right after the treatment as doing so can lead to inflammation. It is recommended that you have at least a 20 minute gentle exercise after treatment to stimulate lymphatic flow throughout the body which helps with removing fat cells from the treated area.
Device Application
Before the procedure, the treatment area is cleansed and protective gel or pads may be applied to the skin to ensure optimal contact between the device and targeted area. The non-invasive device is then carefully positioned to the treatment area for an hour or less. The device delivers laser energy, radiofrequency waves, or focused ultrasound waves to target fat cells. Depending on the course of treatment, the specialist may perform a combination of each per treatment.
Recovery and Results
Non-Invasive body sculpting requires minimal to no downtime, allowing you to resume your regular activities immediately. Over several weeks or months, the body gradually eliminates the targeted fat cells, and you will start noticing improvements in your body contours.
